Évezredek óta mindenki tudja jól, hogy ha egy manó láthatóvá akar válni, akkor el kell járnia a manó táncot. A vizimanók átváltozását villámlás, égzengés, égszakadás kíséri. Az erdei manókét szörnyű szélsüvítés, szélvihar, így a házimanóknak maradt a füst.
Három közönséges kis házi manóról szól ez a mindenkit kacagásra ingerlő mese.
Hilde a feledékeny szobalány, a kedves Ella asszony, Dovre apó, minden manók fejedelme, Hildegard Anastasia von Hohenfels, a szigorú, de annál igazságosabb baronessz és még sokan mások nevettetik meg a gyerekeket, ebben az önzetlen segítségnyújtásról szóló mesében.
A csodát érdekesebbnél érdekesebb színpadi trükkök, édes táncbetétek és Johann Strauss vidám, jókedvű dallamai teszik színesebbé.

With her unmistakable mezzo-soprano voice, remarkable four-and-a-half-octave range, and a catalogue of songs known across generations, she remains a powerful and compelling live performer.
