A csodálatos hangú, törékeny énekesnő megrázó gyermekkoron és szerelmi csalódásain túl már rég úgy hiszi, hogy minden férfi durva, és az időt leghasznosabb mulatással és ivással tölteni… Ám ekkor megjelenik Marcel Cerdan, a „marokkói bombázó”, és örökre megváltoztatja a kis francia veréb, Edith Piaf életét…

De talán túl szép ez a szerelem… Annyira szép, hogy odafentről elrendelik a tragédiát. A Párizs - New York-i repülőgép 1949. október 27-én lezuhan az Azori-szigetek felett. És aznap este Edith Piaf a New York-i Versailles színpadán csak Marcel Cerdannak énekel... Két év. Nem több. Ennyi adatott nekik. De ebben megélték a teljességet.

On 7 June, the Pink Floyd tribute band Keep Floyding brings a special open-air concert to the Foundry Courtyard of Várkert Bazár. The evening, titled Summer of ’26 – Echoes in the Air, captures the atmosphere of early summer and the timeless sound of Pink Floyd, set against the historic walls of Buda and the panoramic view of the Danube. The specially curated Summer Vibe programme features some of the most atmospheric compositions from the Pink Floyd repertoire.
Kati Kovács, one of the defining voices of Hungarian popular music, has been on stage for over six decades. With her unmistakable mezzo-soprano voice, remarkable four-and-a-half-octave range, and a catalogue of songs known across generations, she remains a powerful and compelling live performer. This June, her iconic hits return at VárkertFeszt.
Under the title Castle Session, the open-air events of the series transform the pulse of the city into sound. Once a month, the Neo-Renaissance Garden becomes home to the distinctive sonic world of Be Massive Horizon. The rose garden’s unique atmosphere, panoramic views of the Danube and Gellért Hill, and the historic setting at the foot of the Buda Castle together create the evening’s unmistakable backdrop.
