Depths and heights, sadness and joy, singing and dancing, limits and freedom, community-building energies: this is Falka, an open band in which the members may occasionally change, but this makes their music more exciting and varied. Their programme is made up of compositions by members or other composers that are easy to take in, and even pieces that are inspired by the moment, born on the spot, and include free elements, written parts and easy-to-learn melodies. The goal: to break down the wall between the band and the audience, so that during the performances everyone is united in a community singing and moving around the fire, participating in the ritual.

What happens when Queen’s songs are performed in the language of jazz? The Budapest Jazz Orchestra answers this question with its concert QUEEN – Real JAZZ. The initially unusual idea was a long-cherished project of jazz drummer Zsolt Madai, brought to life as a large-scale production with the support of artistic director Gábor Kollmann.

Az Exhibition on Screen sorozat újabb évadát – a Buckingham-palota Queen’s Gallery kiállítótermében rendezett kiállítás alapján készült – Canaletto és a velencei művészet című filmmel nyitja, amely egy magával ragadó utazásra hív a híres velencei tájképfestő életébe és művészetébe. Senki sem tudta jobban megragadni Velence lényegét és varázsát, mint Giovanni Antonio Canal, akit Canalettóként ismerünk.
