Charles Perrault meséje évszázadok óta kápráztatja el a gyerekeket, és az évek folyamán már több, mint négyszáz változata született a Hamupipőke c. mesének. A hazánkban is ismert népmesei változat helyett azonban a Turay Ida Színház szeretné megismertetni a klasszikus, legrégebbi történetet, amelyben Hamupipőke cselédsorban él, és a szegénységből emelkedik ki kedvességével, szorgalmával és önzetlenségével.
Itt is akadnak jótevői, a Tündérkeresztanya segítségével még a bálba is eljuthat, ahol rátalál a herceg és az igaz szerelem. Közben azt is megtudhatjuk, hogy a feltétel nélküli szeretet és a barátság legyőz minden akadályt.

On 7 June, the Pink Floyd tribute band Keep Floyding brings a special open-air concert to the Foundry Courtyard of Várkert Bazár. The evening, titled Summer of ’26 – Echoes in the Air, captures the atmosphere of early summer and the timeless sound of Pink Floyd, set against the historic walls of Buda and the panoramic view of the Danube. The specially curated Summer Vibe programme features some of the most atmospheric compositions from the Pink Floyd repertoire.
Kati Kovács, one of the defining voices of Hungarian popular music, has been on stage for over six decades. With her unmistakable mezzo-soprano voice, remarkable four-and-a-half-octave range, and a catalogue of songs known across generations, she remains a powerful and compelling live performer. This June, her iconic hits return at VárkertFeszt.
After a long hiatus, one of Hungary’s most popular jazz formations, the Balázs Elemér Group, returns to the stage of Várkert Bazár. Having last performed here in 2020, their upcoming open-air concert promises to be a special summer evening for both the audience and the musicians.
