Katica, a talpraesett hajadon, s a mellészegődött Macskacicó fontos céllal keltek útra: Hollófernyiges, a gonosz sárkány elrabolta a déli szelet, s emellett még János királyt, az ország uralkodóját is eltüntette, így addig nem lesz tavasz, míg valaki vissza nem szerzi a szelet a sárkánytól. A sárkány kastélyához vezető út pedig nem csak hosszú, hanem veszélyes is. Csapdák, ördögök, boszorkányok szegélyezik. A történetet szép dalok fűszerezik, s teszik minden korosztály számára élvezetes kikapcsolódássá.
