Az előadásban természetesen elhangzik Edith Piaf valamennyi híres dala, és egy pillanatra sem hiányzik az érzelem, a szenvedély. Uotinen rendezése (és a szövegíró-dramaturg Juha Siltanen darabja) úgy koncentrál folyamatosan a főhősre, hogy közben az „ensemble-játékot" helyezi előtérbe. A mintegy húszfős csapat szinte mindvégig a színen van, az események szinkronban zajlanak, megismerjük Piaf-ot, a „verebet" és közben megismerjük azt a közeget, amiben felnő, ami meghatározza, ami dalainak gyökere és befogadó otthona. Előttünk a párizsi, a kávéházak-kuplerájok-lokálok-fényes színpadok világa, a színházi öltözők, a ringben a nagy szerelem Marcel Cerdan, az európai és tengerentúli koncertek atmoszférája, az utolsó évek szenvedéssel-csakazértis elszánásokkal teli, a legsűrűbb-legszebb dalokat ihlető, diadallal-bukással végződő varászlatos-tragikus élete.

Under the title Castle Session, the open-air events of the series transform the pulse of the city into sound. Once a month, the Neo-Renaissance Garden becomes home to the distinctive sonic world of Be Massive Horizon. The rose garden’s unique atmosphere, panoramic views of the Danube and Gellért Hill, and the historic setting at the foot of the Buda Castle together create the evening’s unmistakable backdrop.
On 7 June, the Pink Floyd tribute band Keep Floyding brings a special open-air concert to the Foundry Courtyard of Várkert Bazár. The evening, titled Summer of ’26 – Echoes in the Air, captures the atmosphere of early summer and the timeless sound of Pink Floyd, set against the historic walls of Buda and the panoramic view of the Danube. The specially curated Summer Vibe programme features some of the most atmospheric compositions from the Pink Floyd repertoire.
What happens when Queen’s songs are performed in the language of jazz? The Budapest Jazz Orchestra answers this question with its concert QUEEN – Real JAZZ. The initially unusual idea was a long-cherished project of jazz drummer Zsolt Madai, brought to life as a large-scale production with the support of artistic director Gábor Kollmann.
