Mi is az a zsidó vircsaft? Valóban azt jelenti, hogy „rossz gazdálkodás”? Vagy dúskálva a szinonimáknak vélt szavakban, azt írjuk helyette: „skandallum, botrány, ramazúri, ribillió”? Esetleg előhúzzuk a tarsolyunkból a szó másodlagos jelentését, és egyszerűen csak azt mondjuk: „közösség”?
Miben különbözik a deklaráltan zsidó életforma mások életétől? Mit eszik, mit iszik, hogyan biciklizik egy zsidó ember? Vajon tényleg akkora különbség van ember és zsidó ember között, mint azt a többség gondolja?
A fizikai színház, az akrobatika és az élőzene találkozásából született produkcióban 100 évet utazunk vissza, hogy egy pályaudvar nyüzsgő-pezsgő életébe lessünk be. A rabbi lányának tiltott szerelme, a kóser szilvapálinka titka és egy tojásárus is főszerephez jutnak. Hogy mindez álom csupán vagy valóság, azt pedig döntsék el nézőink. Vigyázat, hangos lesz!

On 7 June, the Pink Floyd tribute band Keep Floyding brings a special open-air concert to the Foundry Courtyard of Várkert Bazár. The evening, titled Summer of ’26 – Echoes in the Air, captures the atmosphere of early summer and the timeless sound of Pink Floyd, set against the historic walls of Buda and the panoramic view of the Danube. The specially curated Summer Vibe programme features some of the most atmospheric compositions from the Pink Floyd repertoire.
Under the title Castle Session, the open-air events of the series transform the pulse of the city into sound. Once a month, the Neo-Renaissance Garden becomes home to the distinctive sonic world of Be Massive Horizon. The rose garden’s unique atmosphere, panoramic views of the Danube and Gellért Hill, and the historic setting at the foot of the Buda Castle together create the evening’s unmistakable backdrop.
Kati Kovács, one of the defining voices of Hungarian popular music, has been on stage for over six decades. With her unmistakable mezzo-soprano voice, remarkable four-and-a-half-octave range, and a catalogue of songs known across generations, she remains a powerful and compelling live performer. This June, her iconic hits return at VárkertFeszt.
